Tukinet: Custom CMS for Mental Health Support

WunderdogHelsinki, Finland (Remote)

Built the frontend and backend of a custom CMS powering the new Tukinet mental health support website

Context

Tukinet is a non-profit organization that offers support for mental health.

They required a custom CMS to build their new website and allow full content management and help people’s mental health in Finland.

I worked on their new website as a full-stack developer together with one more developer from Wunderdog.

Solution

I implemented new pages, worked on admin features, and created new API endpoints.

The team was self-managed and I held pair programming sessions, performed code reviews, and advised on frontend architecture and coding standards.

Reflections

Since my colleague did not have much frontend experience, he appreciated my help and guidance to find solutions and apply best practices. At the same time, I learned more about backend development from him, helping to upgrade my skills.
