Context
Feed is a boutique website design and development studio from Oslo. I worked with them as an external consultant through Wunderdog.
Since their main developer went on sick leave, they needed immediate assistance with two different Craft CMS-based projects: building a dynamic landing page generator for a financial firm, and implementing design changes for a green energy company.
Solution
I quickly onboarded to their tech stack, while collaborating closely with designers to understand their customers and their current needs.
While working on the landing page generator, I performed simple usability tests with the customer to make sure that the chosen UX works well. As a result, we found some issues and improved it.
All the requested features and changes were delivered on time.
Reflections
During the project I self-managed my work and also learned most of the stack on the job. What I really liked was communicating with Feed’s clients, getting direct feedback about what I’ve built. Performing the usability tests was a good idea to make sure that what I was building would be of good use.
